​Welcome to Solent

​Hosted at Solent University - Viz Arch Viz is a chance to meet fellow Architectural Visualisation studios alongside some of our own CGI and VFX students. Having postponed this event due to Covid, we are happy to announce that this year we will back on site at Solent University in Southampton.

All of our second year student cohort complete a mandatory Arch Viz. module and will be showcasing some of their latest work.  We also have some students that continue this into the final year, building an Arch Viz. portfolio and looking for that break into the industry.

Previous event speakers have included Foster and Partners, Line Creative, Uniform, Grain London, Igloo Vision and of course our Keynote and organiser of 3D London, Nigel Hunt.

This year's event has a focus on Art and Tech in Visualisation, and we are proud to have some great studios lined up to take part.

Along with an excellent selection of talks from cutting edge companies, Solent University is proud to introduce our seed funding service to assist companies doing research in relevant sectors. If you have been experimenting with Augmented or Virtual Reality, Virtual Photography or other emerging technologies then we may be able to help you financially with Research Grants.

We are designing the event as a cross collaboration between Architectural Visualisation Studios, Architects, Developers, Software Vendors, Graduates.  We appreciate the need for talent in the Arch Vis industry and would like to invite you to meet our cohorts of students whilst sharing the day with a range of specialists in a variety of industries.
